Identifying works on one.network which are taking place at specific times would be i. more transparent to the public and ii. better for co-ordination. Can ELGIN introduce anything associated with "NCT2 time constraints" on its works pop ups? Currently the only beneficiaries of this information are users of the street works register.
Example:
Minor works w/ temporary lights registered for two days, Granted with NCT02a activities between 1900 and 0600 etc.. one.network just shows temp lights for two days, which is not the whole story. Including the condition text will clarify when exceptions have been agreed.
It would be useful for this condition (NCT02a) to be shown on the Pop Out... especially now the location and description is going to be removed .
Furthermore, it would be useful if the control of lights is added (NCT08b)
Hi, we will review where we are able to show condition information.
It is currently possible to attach a Traffic Management plan to the permit pulled through, plot the exact area of road impacted by the lights and set an enforcement pattern which would show that these works are active between 7pm and 6am. This would also have the added benefit that as structured text it would obey the Date/Time filter on the one.network map.
