For some stakeholders such as councillors, it would be useful to force subscribe them to area alerts and avoid the verification step which is often ignored.

We are not permitted to force subscribe on individuals behalf I am afraid so this is not something we can move forward at this time.
Please can you reconsider this for members within our organisation as it would be very useful for staff and elected members
