There are some Groups which repeat each year such as Christmas Embargos or Remembrance Parades and it can be very time consuming to copy individual plans in an expired group to replicate the group with new dates . It would be beneficial if there was an option to copy the group as a whole including all the plans within it.

this is a good suggestion - the outstanding question from us is what dates would you set the constituent plans to (assuming some of the plans have different dates to the group dates?
For our purposes, we would like the individual plan dates to update to the 'master' group date when it is copied or revised. We want to avoid updating Christmas embargo dates on several hundred plans that are within a group and be able to just update the group dates. This would also work for polling stations etc.

In the case of Christmas embargos it would be very useful to either copy the previous years group or just revise the dates on the original group after that year's period has passed. As mentioned in other comments this wold be a date range that varies every year.

An embargo may have a range of dates. Whereas a voting day with polling stations is likely to be a single day in May each year.

hoping I've understood the question correctly but for us the majority of the time plans for Embargos and Parades that would be within a group would all have the same dates, could the group dates be set as one date and then individually plans within it be able to be amended if required?
