Currently the check box to mark a closure an emergency only appears against streetworks items. This does not reflect the reality that emergency closures can also be triggered by a variety of not streetworks reasons. This could include flooding, accidents and other police incidents as well as dangerous buildings, fires or subsidence. (wouldn't become streetworks until a repair was attempted)
Please extend the option to the incident category.

Thank you for the suggestion. However, all of the causes mentioned fall within our incident category which are all considered and treated as emergency situations.
