I have noted that the current icon for schools could easily be missed, as it is no more prominent than the similar icons for private businesses.
What I would like to suggest is a Data Layer that could be selected to highlight schools, the same as you currently have for Car parks, Traffic cameras etc.
This would benefit all users when planning works by easily being able to identify schools at a glance and avoid unnecessary congestion caused by works under TM mistakenly granted near schools.
