Diversion routes automatically avoid area of closure
When plotting a diversion route associated with a closure, it would be beneficial if the system recognised the associated closure and did not plot the diversion through it.
We are currently working on a huge project to automatically present diversion route options for road closures to the user. This will calculate the ultimate diversion route based on: other road works taking place, points of interest such as schools and hospitals, etc. It wil present multiple diversion route options to you as well.
