Something Somerset has been trying to champion is the ability for HA's to highlight unsuitable routes for HGVs using Live Link via One.Network.
Ability to add a unsuitable for HGV live linked layer that reports (ideally links to commercial HGV) sat nav devices.
In most cases HGV's end up using unsuitable routes as it is SatNavs directing them off strategic routes for shorter routes, or to avoid congestion.
As HA's we are the experts on our networks so having the ability to upload unsuitable routes via One.Network can only be of benefit to all road users and add value to this data and road safety.
